Rapid Adoption and Seamless Integration: Teijin's Journey with Visuant

At this year's Visuant® 5.0 User Conference, we had the pleasure of catching up with Vancho Naumovski from Teijin Automotive Technologies. Despite being a relatively new Visuant® user, having implemented the software just 1.5 years ago, Vancho shared insights that highlighted Teijin's rapid adoption and the transformative impact Visuant® has had on their operations.

The Power of Customized Dashboards

One of the key factors driving Teijin's success with Visuant® has been the software's ability to create customized dashboards that provide at-a-glance visibility into their most critical metrics. As Vancho explained, "One of the most significant improvements is the new dashboard feature that allows us to customize and modify them ourselves. This capability is going to provide tremendous relief by making our data management much more efficient and adaptable to our needs."

This open architecture allows Teijin to develop dashboards tailored to the specific information their leadership team needs to see immediately. Vancho emphasized, "The software is an open architecture, so you can develop the dashboards to your metrics that you really need and the ones that are really critical that you want to see and visualize."

Enhancing Engagement and Accountability

Another standout feature for Teijin has been Visuant®'s engagement reporting capabilities, which Vancho admitted he wasn't initially aware of. "The engagement reporting is a tool that I did not know was in the powerful tool that is in there," he shared. "We're going to engage it into the process."

This functionality aligns with Teijin's focus on accountability, particularly when it comes to addressing overdue or "red" action items. As Vancho explained, "We set an execution date to follow through with, and if we don't achieve that date, it comes up to the top of the table... we make sure those red actions are addressed before the next meeting."

The "Thoughtware" Behind the Software

Interestingly, Vancho also touched on the concept of "thoughtware" – the strategic thinking and planning that goes into configuring Visuant to align with an organization's unique processes and needs. "The way I see the thoughtware is basically where we are the think tank, and then we express the think tank into the software and bring it out to the visual process that we see as a dashboard," he clarified.

This thoughtware approach is a core tenet of Visuant®'s methodology, ensuring the software is not just a tool but an extension of an organization's operational philosophy and workflow.

The Value of the User Community

Throughout the interview, Vancho repeatedly highlighted the value of connecting with other Visuant® users at the conference. "It reassures some of the things that we're looking at and we're struggling with as well, and we're not the only ones struggling in some of the areas and applications that it offers," he shared.

This ability to learn from others' experiences and collectively problem-solve implementation challenges is a clear advantage of being part of the Visuant user community.

As Teijin continues to deepen its Visuant® integration, leveraging new features like the briefing functionality, Vancho's insights serve as a powerful example of how rapidly an organization can embed the software into its cultural DNA when the "thoughtware" is there. We're excited to follow Teijin's journey and see how their Visuant® mastery evolves in the years to come.
